Fj	Re: what is the function of the screen grid resistor? I had the option (check-out 5E3 original layout), of using the pair of 470 ohm resistors, on all 3 of my home-built 5E3 's, I left them OUT...NO problems thus-far...of-course, I'm running NOS 6V6's...fwiw...Frank.
