JB	Re: Sound City/ Hiwatt connection? I have a Sound City 100 (not the 120) from about 1969 that is almost 100% the same as my Hiwatt 100. It had a few trimpots, that I swapped for fixed value resistors, and the power and bias supply was slightly different. The transformers, turret board, pots, etc are the same as Hiwatt. It's got a cool sound and vibe and only cost $75.00. I'm not sure how close the 50 watters were. You would have to look inside it because the one I had was wired point to point on the sockets not on turret board and was a rat's nest of wires.
