Barry	Champ through big cabs I have tried the following with my bone stock '64 VC: ADA 2 x 12 closed back with Eminence's copy of the V30. Sounds little like a V30 IMO BTW. Not the best. Marshall 1960A cab with Celestion G75s. Awesome. Big, huge and tight. The perfect match for this amp when cranked (volume at 7.5-10) for my tastes. Open back Twin Reverb with Carvin branded Eminence 80 watters. Excellent. Tight and big. This is what I use most of the time now with the '64. In each case 3-4 on the volume pot is loud enough that conversation is difficult. 5-6 is bordering on too loud for after-hours playing as the neighbors can hear it. I live in a block construction house. One of these days I will replace the Utah speaker that is in it with something decent but deciding on which 8" speaker has been...uh...problematic Barry
