Vintage Club mods Sorry about few days delay , but anyway This one has a cathode follower , (BTW Thanks for the warning) I changed the 220pf to a 47pf on the clean channel , the V2 coupling cap to a .0047 ,the 470pF to a 390pF and the 33k to a 47k on the tone stack. I've had no chance to play the amp loud after these mods ,yet , but the first hand comments are , on the overdrive channel , that the muddiness ( or should I say fartiness ?) is gone , but also gone is the bass response After testing it loud , I'm going to decide , should I increase the .0047 coupling cap value.
