BTW, as mentioned in the header, that grounding chapter came from the book "Noise Reduction Techniques in Electronic Systems", by Henry W. Ott. This is a highly recommended book. In addition to the chapter on grounding, it has chapters on shielding, resistor and capacitor properties, and all sorts of other good stuff, all relating to low-noise design. I saw a new second edition of the book at Borders the other day, so if anyone is interested in getting a copy, that would be a good place to start. Randall Aiken |
