Stephen, I haven't needed 800 watts lately, so I have no first hand accounts of these puppies, but there's a bunch of info on the Svetlana site about 'em and the whole family of 4CX... tubes. Check out the tech. bulletins, esp. #38 for the stereo hifi 4CX300A1 amp. Seems the big trouble is finding output iron for these things, short of those monster anchors they use in Ham Radios... ...
