I've just played one gig with them and they sounded decent, but I don't have a definite opinion yet. They're definitely better than my 6550 backup set of Russian "Audio Glassics". I had GE 6550A's in there before getting the KT90's and I was really pleased with the bass punch the GE's put out. You may want to e-mail Ned at Triode about the Chinese KT88's. Seems that I've heard that they're not real KT88's like the Genelex. Don't know the scoop though. I've only heard that the Yugo KT90 is the only comparible "KT88 type" to Genelex.     Troy
