"   Yes, exactly the reason TO try two different speakers in a common cabinet.   I don't give a rats fanny if one speaker dominates the other. :>)   All I'm after is the pretty picture at the end and who cares how you set the controls to get it.   Variables are used for a good reason.   So, I experiment with everything and since speakers or combination of speakers is a true variable, messin' around with the speakers, combination of speakers or mismatched speakers, (in the right speaker cabinet) can lead you to a very satisfying sound.     I'ts like my dad use to tell me,   "Don't give me the labor pains just deliver the baby."     Bruce
