1/2 open 1/2 closed 4X10 cabinet

Blues Lyne	1/2 open 1/2 closed 4X10 cabinet I have a 4x10 cabinet about the size of the speaker portion of Super Reverb as far as width and depth. The bottom half is closed. I posted on the Weber board about what speakers to mix with my Mojo MP10RHD's and which would sound better in the open and closed portion. One poster mentioned that if the enclosure was small it would probably stifle the speakers. Since I know nothing about this and had it custom made when I lived back in Cincinati and don't know how much the guy that built it knew about this sort of thing, what are some of your opinions on this. Should I modify the back to make both open? My original idea was to get some of the punch of a closed back with the sound of an openback mixed in. Thanks, Blues
