Gibson Tranny Driver ??

rise	Gibson Tranny Driver ?? amp gurus, please comment on what is going on w/ the '60s gibson amps that used a transformer for a driver. ex. the ga-35rvt, see url: http://www.guitar-parts.com/images/ga35rvt.jpg i have one like this with 7591's and dual 10" jensens at my local tech pal's, but he says he's never seen anything like it and doesn't know how it's supposed to work. the amp makes sick noisy sounds now.... any help appreciated! please E-mail, as i am not getting here much.... risehigh E-mail RISEHIGH@AOL.COM
