2: yes they are. 3: the old SRO's are AlNiCo. The older alnico speakers are low power BC that's all there was.. (it's not the magnet that sets this) the SRO's aren't really high power. I put a pair in a guy's twin, and man is that beast HEAVY. I *think* they were originally sound reinforcement speakers. (not specifically 'guitar' speakers..) They do sound nice. |
