Newer EL34

Trace	Newer EL34 Hey gang; I just tried a set of EL34's called Teslovak. They came out of the "tesla" plant and I was putting them in an older 4-input Marshall. Much to my surprise they sounded REALLY good! I've tried a bunch of the newer EL34's only to find myself paying more for the NOS ones. So for what ever it's worth, they sounded mighty good in an A/B test with a pair of NOS Mullards. Of course they didn't have that "magical" top end quality but the it was pretty darn close with all things considered. The lowend was pretty tight and the mids were very "open" sounding and not "muddled" or "cluttered." I have no idea of the reliabilty or durability since I just tried these but I thought you guys might find it interesting to some degree. Take good care gang!!! Trace
