jeff	Re: What is the "sweetest" power tube you have heard? design specs (on NOS 6v6's) is max 360 VDC on the plates,     Fender Deluxe's used up to 425 VDC. EL34's i think off     hand can do 500+ VDC .. so at a minimum you'd need to lower     the B+ to tolerable levels for 6V6'ers .. but IMO 6V6's     sound really sweet!
