Sure, but I still suggest that you make the chassis first, because bent metal never ends up at the dimension you intended (or maybe it's just me?), and so either it won't fit or there'll be huge gaps.

What you see in those pictures on the front of the baffle is not a rail, but a 1" wide strip of ply glued around the edge of the baffle. Take a look at the plans for the vibroclone (see previous post). The second drawing is a front view of the baffle only (not a front view of the cabinet)

You could tack the 1" strip to the baffle, but I just glued/clamped it.
