Marshall/vox'ish sound -- very very rich harmonically (really unique in this way). Adds a bit of compression. Part of the trainwreck sound. Now, Peter S. claims he tried it with a OEI tranny. I believe his post is till up in one of the other forums. As for the Redbone--I just finished a Traynor conversion that I used a Express pre in one channel. The PI is a Blkface type with a 820 instead of the 470 on the cathode resistor on the driver. FB off the 4ohm tap, 820 FB resistor witht he top of the driver gounded thru a 100 ohm resistor. Sounds killer, thinking of trying that with my real clone. bw bw
