The Blue Bear had a 1 day a month jam but it's acoustic...I'm thinking of starting a bar and having open jams every night. If a band wants to play, it will have to be for free. I'd just let them sign up for whatever night they wanted. I actually think there would be plenty of people who would like to play for the fun of it. I think the bottleneck used to do that on Mondays, but there also used to be a waiting list. I'm going to go ahead and gut out the circuit board out of this VL-501 ampeg and put in a homemade one so I can easily add/subtract parts. I'll also have to drill & mount new tube sockets etc...it'll be a while before I can show off the hackmare, but im psyched. If I remember, I may make it down to Topeka Sun. to the place Don was talking about. Otherwise, email me if there's a jam happening that you'll be at! JimW
