Re: trainwreck clone goes to a gig
hey JimW:

My band setup currently consists of a Blackface Showman into a Marshall jubilee (purdy silver tolex!) 412 with vintage 30s. Also use a good ole Boss Metal Zone for crunch. This is a truly big sound. May seem like overkill on volume but with a loud bass player/drummer, and 4 horns I usually need it. Plus I'm 24 and still am into that whole LOUD thing :)

Projects: just finished getting the Showman all set up for gigging (replaced filter caps/all the electrolytics, plus all the 1W resistors and a couple of iffy jacks). I'm also attempting a cabinet for my first project, a tweed deluxe clone. And I'm trying to put together a tele on a budget.

Got any interesting leads for blues jams? Jazzhaus has something every Monday night I think, but it's more of an open mic thing than a jam. In any case, if you ever wanted to get together sometime for a jam or "amp show and tell," I'm game.
