    Seems like every Wreck clone built is different in one way or another (PT, OT, specific components used) so by starting out with a 250kA pot you could figure out where the "sweet spot" is and then use a combination of a fixed resistor and pot for fine tuning within that specific range... Or just use a venier dial!
