I was told by a seemingly reliable source that some of the Wrecks were built out of parts from old amps, notably Fenders and some were built from new parts only.  
    I believe that those were the pre-Trainwreck amps that Ken Fischer had built. As for the "new/old" listing on the trainwreck site, I thought that it just referred to two different generations of custom transformers that Ken had used in the amps. The Liverpool amp named Christine built in 1989 was listed as having an Old transformer; I doubt that he would have been using Fender "pull-outs" in 1989...
