High Gain Power tube choice & EL34 triode

Craig D | High Gain Power tube choice & EL34 triode Hello all, Has anyone used EL34's in a gain amp such as a SLO or dual rectifier? What is the difference between that and the usuall 6L6's? Also, what is the highest B+ that anyone has used on an EL34 in Triode mode? Thanks everyone. Craig |
