Checked in Sibley's "Tube Lore" for the 6M5 -
"Min 9-pin power pentode, heater 6.3V @ 710 MA, gm 10.0 mS, 3.9 W out." Was introduced in 1949 and the basing is 9N. Seems the power out is a little low for replacing common tubes but you could make a nice SE or PP practice amp out of them. I'm kinda surprised that the heater draws so much current for so little power out.
