I love to cram amps into really small enclosures for the humor of it. Small 12v cooling fans robbed from computers really help - just make them easy to replace. For long tube life and reduced heat run your signal tubes at reduced heater voltage/power. The 12AX7s will run well at 5.5v (of course, test them in your circuit), last longer, and put off much less heat. GW
