No tube type was specified for the 100 ohm recommendation, just for general stabilizing purposes in output stages.
It appears the Hammond 272FX might make a good transformer choice, using a tube rectifier to get the voltage down a bit. I realize that there are lots of other power transformers out there for these lower-powered designs, but I'm not as up on them as maybe I should be - the AX84.com site might be a good place to check out.
