Modding the gain with a potentiometer?
I saw a note regarding adding a 250k pot in place of the 47k input resistor to control the gain of the circuit on the schematics page. Would this control any distortion? Would a 100k pot work since the value of the resistor is 47k? Curios since I'm gathering up components for it and that mod looked like a good tweak idea.
