It has this wierd strong effect that when you pull two stings together it sounds like its bending the other way. Yes my original does have more effect up higher on the neck but still is extremely apparent on any powerchords as well as soloing anywhere on the neck. It makes my muffs sound more powerfull than they are especially on higher up powerchords. the diffference with the 2n5089/2n4250 trans switched to the BC's was night and day. I strongly recommend the BC's. Give more details when I'm back at work on thurs Greg
