"the vibrato is being driven by a sinusoidal wave, created by the back-to-back pair of diodes (hmm, maybe that's the basis for the legend)." There has to be something to the legend, cause this thing is the most unique sounding chorus unit i've ever played. IMHO nothing comes close. And TRUST ME, I would love to find something that takes up less of my pedal board, its HUGE. I try every new chorus pedal that comes out, and while some are great, nothing nails this sound.
