| John | Guyatone Slow Volume I got one of these Friday and have had great fun messing with it. The notes definitely do not get brighter; it's just volume. Adds a violin-like quality to the notes. RG is correct in that you need to adapt your playing style - you need to compensate for the missing part of the note (e.g., play ahead of the beat - more so at more extreme settings). I'm not ready to gig with this yet. I'm not sure if I ever will be. At more subtle settings it adds a synth-like warble, reminiscent of a mini-korg portamento. - John |
