mosfet as replacement for tubes?

| cw | mosfet as replacement for tubes? would it be possible to take a schematic of a tube preamplifier (for argument's sake, lets say the Fender brown face preamp on Ampage -> http://www.ampage.org/schems/brfpre.gif ) and replace the tubes with mosfets? what all would be involved, assuming that the finished product would run at a safe (preferably 9v) voltage? i would be really interested in seeing what would happen. cw |
