Re: More ebay insanity! "Rare" treble booster! In fairness, despite the use of quotes around "Rare" in this thread, the thing REALLY IS very rare. Very few of them were ever made. I believe the case was supposed to look like May's original. Personally, I collect noise toys because of the sounds they make, but some people collect rare ones BECAUSE they're rare. This one doesn't do anything sonically unusual enough to excite me, but I can understand the urge to buy it because of its rarity. It's like folks who collect baseball cards or stamps or coins, really. Of course, most of the folks here are interested in the sounds of the pedals, not their rarity. But that's no reason to diss folks who get into pedals (or anything else) for other reasons.     Kate Ebneter   Collector of Noise Toys
