| Martin | Re: Zakk Wyldes pedal board. Toshi Iseda is this shredder guy who only plays 7 string guitars and has a bunch of endorsements. He has what is probably the biggest collection of 7 strings on the planet, which includes such gems as the world's only 7 string Fender Strat. Anyway, I used to work as his guitar tech. It was really cool getting to mess around with all those 7 strings. I've probably replaced pickups in more Ibanez Universe 7s than most people have ever even seen. Toshi's problem is that he has an enormous ego and a generally bad attitude. This attitude just got to be too much after awhile and I ditched him. The more time I spent around him, the more he reminded me of a broken record. I was just sick of hearing about how great he was and how he was doing all this great stuff. There's only so long I can stand to hear someone talk about himself. His website is www.overthetop.com I'm pretty sure there is a photo gallery in there. The website is for his record label, he has his own section in there. Go ahead and check it out, but beware the BS! This guy doesn't have it together as much as he would have you believe. Oh yeah, he never paid me either. He said I had to "prove I was worth it." What an ass. I'm not suprised so many amp designs are just ripping off the Soldano. That's how it is, circuit design has changed very little in the past 50 years, when people find something good they stick with it. I've got a cool idea for a class D "switching" guitar amp, now that would be something different. Later, Martin |
