Ring modulator

Alex | Ring modulator Has anyone built a simple ring modulator before? I found a schematic for a cheesy passive ring mod but I don't know if the parts are really available. I was hoping to have one input for my guitar or my wurlitzer, and the other input for a sine oscillator and a microphone. Then have a balance fader to get the right mix. My brother has a zoom processor with a ring mod effect that, I've been told, sounds like "Godzilla's Death Ray." I'm hoping I can one day emulate it. |
