I have tested these trannies in a setup like the one on Steves site (but with one DMM and a switch) . So far I've tried four different trannies in the 69 circuit, no major difference. Three with leakage of about 200-270, and the Q2 in there at the moment with leak 450-550, ooops, I'll swap in another one and see if that helps. Gain of the first pair was around 77 and 104, second pair about 90 and 170 (the leaky Q2). I guess Ideally I should have had a Q2 with slightly higher gain than 104. Right? A couple of more wires to comb and I'll swap the Q2 and fire it up again Thanks for the input! Jens
