Going BAD Battery SOUND

Steve	Going BAD Battery SOUND Anyone ever heard of this? Your pedal has a 9 volt battery in it (distortion), and as the battery approaches that point of not filling the needs of the pedal you start to get all different sounds. Some are good and I hear some try to mimick the dead battery sound. I would not have believed it because I always change mine, but the other day I ran one all the way down on an expandora and I started wondering what was going on (duh) the battery, nevertheless there were some interesting sounds coming out ,but not for long... Kinda weird when you think about it? Someone told me about a device that mimicks or trys to give that going bad sound, anybody heard of this?
