Re: millenium2 led won't switch
okay, so now i am wanting to kill myself. well, almost! after a 3 hour bout with this little circuit, i have made no headway. i built 3 different ones. tried differet LEDs. tried 3 different switches. i tried wiring it from the pdf pf the shaka brada III. i tried wiring it from the picture of the triple bypass. (essentially the same, i think). i don't know what is up... for the "low leakage diode" i am using a 2n4401 from RS, using the base/ collector leads. what is a normal diode that i could try here? for the other diode, i am using a 1n4148 from RS. there are several stipes on it, so it sin't clear to me which end is which, but either way i put it in, the outcome is the same. the mosfet is a 2n7000. the resistor is a regular 1/4 carbon film. basically i am using the exact specs that geo calls for, but i can't get the thing to go dim!!! any suggestions?
i need to go let off some steam...

thanks for your help!
