The coupling cap, cathode resistors, grid stopper (120K), and tone stack mods make a big difference though. Most of the resistors in the signal path are 1/2 watt. Not sure about the high voltage ones, have to check, they are probably 1 watts. I used 50v caps in the preamp section. Doug
