Anyhow...my newer one (one of the plastic case ones) has the following: (1) Audio amp chip (NJM-386D, check Mouser) (2) 16V 47uF caps That's all there is to it! w/ open loop gain on the audio amp, that gives about 200x gain! (if memory serves me correctly). If you are thinking about making one...don't bother. I highly doubt you'd save any money, and they only cost 20 bux. Much more trouble than it is worth. Besides, Bruce Zinky deserves your money for coming up w/ such a great idea. Lorren
