Bluesbreaker revisted...
While my son and I completed the Muff Fuzz, which turned out very well, somthing got me to realize what my "circuit problem" with the BB was... I didn't mirrior the circuit for the trace side of the PCB! Doh! While my son collected himself from a laughing fit and I put on my "it was a good way to practice solder technique" face, hehe, we started the project over right side up ;-) and completed the project. Works great! We put both projects in aluminum Radio Shack boxes with toggle switches for now till our back order comes in for the foot switches and Hammond boxes. He uses a Fender Frontman amp and the Bluesbreaker does a wonderful job shaping the sound out of the small amp to our ears. The next projects lined up are R.G.'s pedal board using a 12v wall wart as the supply and Fuxx Face pedal designed by Jack Orman. I would like to thank J.D. for the kind relpy to our e-mail and all of you who put the time and effort into providing the information for these stompboxes for us to learn, explore and enjoy. There is nothing like seeing the pride and sense of accomplshment on a kid's face after finishing a project like this. Thanks again for the new hobby ;-)
