Glad to hear things are settling in. Stop scratching yet?  
 
Electronically modify....hmmm.... parallel or series tanks...signal looping...the soldering iron's warming up. I'll keep ya posted.  
 
On another note, my Hammond organs have looped reverb springs that gotta be a yard long. really deep reverb.  
 
I'd love to read that article from Polyphony....If you're interested, I can send you an article by Richard Dorf (Schober organ) where he discusses how spring reverbs are acoustically way different than natural reverb/echo, and how he designed the Schober reverbatapes to more closely mimic real room reverberation...those guys went to major lengths to understand and quantitate natural reverb, then tried to reproduce it electro-mechanically. A design exercise I find refreshing.
