Why bother with true-bypass switching?.....more...
I find that buffering the guitar signal by placing my MXR Micro Amp pedal first in the signal chain cleans that messyness right up. I get a loud & clear signal with no lost tone at all, so why bother changing all the switches in my stompboxes to true-bypass if I'm using a buffer? This seems like a simpler solution, or am I missing something?
