The connector with the male pin in the center, the one you see on the Boss pedal, is what I call the jack or socket. Anyway, the correct size to match Boss pedals is 5.5mm x 2.1mm. Both the plugs and sockets are available from Radio Shack, but you can order them from almost any electronics parts house like Mouser, MCM, Parts Express, and others. So the large, outside diameter is 5.5mm. The pin diameter is 2.1mm, so if you find a plug with say, a 2.3mm bore, it will still fit over the 2.1mm pin and make good contact. If you can find 5.5 x 2.1 size, get that. (Also fits Ibanez Tube screamer, but not DOD & MXR)
