Of course, I haven't seen another one since the day I bought mine. I have found that both the Morley and Whirlwind boxes tend to pop even with the 1 Meg resistors probably due to the minute arcing when the LED side of the switch is engaged. If you remove the battery, they no longer pop. I did build an A/B switch for a friend with just a DP/DT and used a Millenium bypass type of circuit to switch the LED on/off.
