| Ed | Re: whats a good sub for a 2SC1849 transistor? Thanks again Kurt, Yes I just checked out my NTE cat. and see, The problem I am having is that I purchased a bunch of 2SC2901 which are MCM's subs for the 2SC1849 and I found a meter to check the hfe, the hfe was about 80-100 with the 2SC2901, I do have a few 2SC1849's from Americanmicrosemiconductor, (thier prices are $3.00 ea and they want you to buy a minimum of 50, oouch!!!) and those 2Sc1849 hfe where between 150-270, which seemed to work very well in my project. So I have been trying to find samples, which I am finding out most suppliers do not do these days and get very upset when you ask! so I think I will try some NTE's since they are a reputable company. If you have any suggestions I appreciate it! Thanks! Ed |
