I picked up an Intellitouch Tuner by Onboard Research a couple of months ago. This thing is great! It clips onto the head - you can tune any kind of instrument without going through electronics. Has a 7 octave range, and tunes to any note. You can use a standard 440hz reference, or teach it a different one. I got it from somewhere on the 'net for $50!
