Insanity box debug help needed

Firefly	Insanity box debug help needed I have built an insanity box as per Aron Nelson's web page and am Getting no guitar sounds out. I have traced from the input to the output of the 4558 chip where the sound dissappears. The sound makes it to the input of the chip but not out the other side. Anybody got any ideas?? BTW I am using my guitar plugged into the input of the effect and probing with another guitar cord, plugged into the amp, grounded at the other end to the effect and running the hot lead of the guitar through a .1cap. As I said the signal is good up to the input of the chip. Thanks Firefly
