Well, don't shoot me for this but...     There are some not so digital sounding digital delays out there for cheap.     Ibanez EM-5 echo machine... seen 'em for as low as $40     Ibanez DE-7... new "tone-lock" model     Korg 301dl... I picked one of these up NIB for $50... very versatile with adjustable lo-fi features to simulate analog and 2 presets. I use this one a lot with it set for slap-back and longer repeats... sounds good to me.     Boss DD-3... I know it says digital but it still sounds very smooth. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but the specs read 12-bit technology... whatever the case it's a decent pedal and can be had for $75 or less.     Sorry, i use to use plexes all the time in the old days and they were cool but I can get along just as well with one of these little stomp-boxes.     just my .02     pHiLtHy
