Hotbox w/ 6SL7 whaddia think?

| Ricky | Hotbox w/ 6SL7 whaddia think? have you guys seen the "super 6V6" amp on angela's web site? Its wired up so you can use either a 12ax7 or 6SL7 octal type for the preamp tube. this got me thinking, how about a hotbox-type preamp pedal using the same idea? I think I would just have two gain stages as opposed to the hotbox's four. what do you think? does it sound good? Ricky |
