| Mark Hammer | Re: EH Graphic Fuzz The Graphic Fuzz used a voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA) post fuzz, so that the envelope of the predistortion signal could be used to restore dynamics to the post-distortion signal. The default part for many VCA-based designs at the time was a CA3080 transconductance amp. HOWEVER, EH was very fond of using the CA3094, which can also be used as a VCA, in a great many of their designs (some days I think EH is the only reason why they still make CA3094's). Their house number for CA3094's was EH1048. Is it possible this is what's in there? |
