I don't think the rubber band can make a diference in the sound on that pedal (is it the round FuzzFace, right?) But, a rubber band around a pedal, or around the wrist of the player, or maybe around the headstock of a guitar "can" induce a player to find his sound/tone. I mean, some people may drive better/saver giving their car a name... (as long as they don't really/allways think the tone is "there", in the rubber band itself) It's so hard to be honest and play with feeling all the time... jc
