A pot that is rugged, dependable, stable, sealed from taking on floor dust (operates without scratches or skips), and will tolerate mucho cycles, can't be produced cheaply. I agree that the prices for Dunlop's replacements are a bit steep, but they do last a few years of continuous abuse, which makes the expense a little easier to swallow.
