R.G.	Re: What's your favorite way to mount an LED??? This is the same thing I use - except Mouser sells them for 0.13 each in ones, and $7.00 for a bag of 100. It's part number 351-0003.     Drill a 0.250" hole and pop the clip in from the outside. The LED fits in from the back and wedges the clip - and itself! - into the hole securely.
